I'm pregnant and love the name Nylah. The father of my unborn daughter is Irish, and I'm Caribbean-American (with Egyptian roots) so the name fits perfectly. On a side note, I also moved from New York to Los Angeles in 2004 which was a stellar year for me. Thus Nylah works in so many ways. I wish your daughters the best!

Hi, my goddaughter's name is Nylah. Her mother and I have been friends since we were babies! (Literally!)
I asked if I could name her second child. I found the name online but with a different spelling. I wanted her to have a "y" in her name like me! LOL (My name is Robyn.) Once I researched the meaning, I was positive that this would be her name. She is now a cute, bright 5 year old.
